Details:

Deki Carbon Steel Flexible Wedge Gate Valves are most common valves for heavy duty open and close functions. They are primarily used for slurries, viscous fluids, and are not normally considered for throttling purposes. A traveling wedge is moved with the operation of the stem nut. The wedge travels perpendicularly to the direction of the flow. The advantages of gate valves include minimum pressure drop when fully open, tight shut-off when fully closed, and relatively free of contamination buildup.


Deki Carbon Steel Flexible Wedge Gate Valves can be operated by hand wheel, gear operators, electric actuators, pneumatic actuators. Other special requirements such as bypasses, locking devices, chain wheels, extended stems, non-rising stem structure, and bonnets for cryogenic services, etc. can be available upon request.
