Technical indicators

1. Distribution loss. The distribution loss of the main path to the branch is substantially related to the power distribution ratio of the power splitter. For example, the distribution loss of the two-divided power splitter is 3 dB, and the distribution loss of the four-divided power splitter is 6 dB.

2. Insertion loss. The insertion loss between the input and output is due to the fact that the medium or conductor of the transmission line (such as the microstrip line) is not ideal, considering the loss caused by the standing wave ratio at the input.

3. Isolation. Isolation between branch ports is another important indicator of power splitters. If the input power from each branch port can only be output from the main port and not from the other branch, this requires sufficient isolation between the branches.

4, standing wave ratio. The smaller the voltage standing wave ratio of each port, the better.
